Research and application of setting methods for quick break and overload protection of newly added driving fan motors
A new 1 800 kW start-up fan has been added to the 800 kt/a sulphuric acid plant of Yunnan Tian'an Chemical Co.,Ltd.phase II.The theoretical setting calculation process of the quick break protection and inverse time overload protection for the high-voltage motor of the fan is mainly discussed.Based on the problems encountered during the test run,a method for reasonably modifying the protection setting is studied.
