The Photo Album of Chinese students in Europe and America is a collection of photos of Chinese stu-dents studying in Europe and America at the end of the Qing Dynasty.It contains photos of more than 150 students who studied in Belgium,Germany,Britain,the United States,France,Russia and other coun-tries,and is now preserved in Shanghai Library.Because the book does not list the time of publication,there are different opinions about when the book was published.Based on the investigation of the basic historical facts such as the time of overseas students studying in Europe and America,the essay believes that the editing and publication of this album began in the autumn and winter of 1904,and its completion would be no later than the end of 1905.It is highly likely a gift intended for Duanfang and others.
