Savarkar is a leader of Hindu nationalism and the theoretical creator of the current ruling party,the People's Party of India.His unique violent revolutionary thoughts have deeply influenced India's history,reality and future,but he has been widely criticized for his sharp opposition to Gandhi's non-violent and non-cooperative thoughts.This article comprehensively and objectively examines the origins of Savarkar's vi-olent revolutionary thoughts,his concepts of just violence,his attitude toward the non-violent revolutionary thoughts and movement,and the impact of his violent revolutionary thought,in order to help us deepen the understanding of India's modem history,politics,and society.
