Shanghai is an important birthplace and initial starting point for the Communist Young League of Chi-na,playing a significant role in laying the foundation and promoting the establishment and early develop-ment of the League.This is specifically reflected in the following aspects:Shanghai Socialist Youth League,the first youth organization in China,was born in Shanghai,playing a crucial guiding and leading role in the establishment of youth organizations across the country;Shanghai was an important preparation site for the First National Congress of the Chinese Socialist Youth League,preparing ideological and organizational conditions for the official establishment of the Communist Young League of China;Shanghai was the place where the Communist Party of China first explicitly clarified the relationship between the Party and the League,and where the League first raised the banner of communism,laying organizational principles and political foundations for the Communist Young League to adhere to the leadership of the Party;Shanghai was the host of the official publication of the Central Committee of the League,The Pioneer(Xianqu),and the birthplace of China Youth(Zhongguo qingnian),initiating the League's public opinion and propaganda work,making significant contributions to serving the League's ideological and organizational construction,and mobilizing a large number of League members and young people to participate in the revolutionary movement led by the Party.
