British Empire's Recognition of China's Non-Signature at the 1914 Simla Conference(1935-1938)
The article reveals that during the period from 1935 to 1938,the British Empire had a clear under-standing of the fact that China did not sign the contract at the Simla Conference in 1914 during the pro-cess of fabricating the false copy of Volume 14 of the 1929 Volume XIV of Aitchison's Treaties and dis-closing the illegal"McMahon Line".In 1936,the official mapping agency of the British Empire, the Sur-vey of India, for the first time published the illegal"McMahon Line"on the map titled"Highlands of Ti-bet and surrounding Regions".After confirming that no agreement on this section of the border had been reached between China and Britain, and that this section of the border"had not been demarcated",it marked the map with"undetermined boundary".
