To Have Credit,and More Importantly to Know How to Use Credit:Credit Capability and Micro Entrepreneurship
The inclusive role of micro entrepreneurship has received increasing attention,but the impact of credit on it is not uniform or even contradictory.Developing credit capabilities that utilize limited credit resources has become the key to micro entrepreneurship,which may also be one of the paths to solving this problem.This article,based on China Family Panel Studies,attempts to test and explain the role of credit capability on micro entrepreneurship.It further analyzes and verifies the aforementioned issues based on urban and rural subsamples,and also examines the differences in the effects of credit capability and credit on micro entrepreneurship.The results show that in both urban and rural families,credit capability can significantly promote entrepreneurial behavior,expand the number of startups and increase entrepreneurial profits,and this effect is significantly stronger in rural families.The role of credit capability on micro entrepreneurship is stronger than that of credit.
