The"Double-Eight Strategy"Explores Ahead the Theoretical System of the Whole-Process People's Democracy and the Spatial Path:Taking the Practice of Grassroots People's Congress Organs in Zhejiang Province as Study Object
During Chinese President Xi Jinping's working in Zhejiang Province,he regarded the"Double-Eight Strategy"as the general guideline for developing Zhejiang and embedded how to recognize,practise and develop people's democracy in the"Double-Eight Strategy",resulting in the establishment of a relatively complete theoretical system of people's democracy,and laying an important foundation for the formation of the whole-process people's democracy.From the perspective of the spatial production,people's democracy theory has effectively transformed into democratic practice that mainly concerns such dimensions as spatial boundaries and spatial states.Within this framework,the grassroots People's Congress organs in Zhejiang Province,by means of creating democratic space,ablating spatial boundary,juxtaposing spatial combination and innovating time-space compression,have formed a democratic unit work system with the NPC Deputy Liaison Station as the space carrier,and have effectively embodied people's interests,reflected people's will and maintained people's rights and interests,contributing Zhejiang experience and materials to the provincial practice of the whole-process people's democracy.
