A Survey and Analysis of Parents'Attitudes towards Inclusive Education for Preschool Children
A questionnaire survey was conducted among 2 586 parents using The Questionnaire on Parents'Attitudes towards Inclusive Education. The results showed that parents had positive attitudes towards inclusive education, but were concerned about the possible negative aspects of inclusive education and the negative impact on their children.Demographic analysis showed that there were significant differences in parents'attitudes towards inclusive education in terms of factors such as gender, age, education level, and distance in relationship with their children with special needs.Based on these findings, this study proposes the following recommendations to enhance parents'support for preschool inclusive education:strengthen the publicity and training of inclusive education to enhance parents'awareness;conduct research on the effectiveness of inclusive education to alleviate parents'concerns;optimize the support system for inclusive education to ensure the quality of inclusive education;and play a leading role in demonstration to expand the influence of inclusive education.
