Determination of ethyl maltol in sesame oil by ultra high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry standard addition method
A detection method for ethyl maltol in sesame oil using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry standard addition has been established.The sample was extracted with methanol solution,using 0.1%formic acid aqueous solution and 0.1%formic acid methanol solution as mobile phases,gradient elution,and chromatographic column separation,multi reaction monitoring in the positive ion mode of electric spray,and quantitative method of standard addition.The results showed that in the mass concentration range of 20~200 ng/mL,the linearity was good,the correlation coefficient r>0.995,the recoveries were 98.4%~99.0%,and the relative standard deviations(n=6)were 0.55%~1.03%.By partici-pating in the CFAPA-2063 determination of Ethylmaltol in Sesame Oil,the ability verification showed that the |Z| of ethylmaltol in the sample was less than 0.2.This method has simple and convenient pre-treatment operation,small matrix effect,and high sensitivity,and can be used to detect the content of ethylmaltol in sesame oil.
