Simultaneous detection of four azo synthetic colorants in meat products using multi-stage porous MOFs materials combined with high-performance liquid chromatography
A high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)method was established for the simultaneous detection of four azo synthetic colorants(carmine, sunset yellow, lemon yellow, amaranth)in meat products, using multi porous MOFs(macro microporous ZIF-8,M-ZIF-8)as adsorbents for purification. The results showed that under optimized instrument conditions, the four azo based synthetic colorants had good linearity, with a correlation coeffi-cient greater than 0.999,a limit of quantification(LOQs)of 0.3-0.5 mg/kg,a recovery rate of 92.0%-105.1%,and a relative standard deviation of 0.5%-2.2%.This method is efficient and fast, capable of simultaneously detecting four types of azo synthetic colorants in meat prod-ucts,shortening the pre-treatment time, and can be reused at least 5 times, reducing analysis costs. Therefore, this method has good application prospects in the detection of azo synthetic col-orants in meat products.
