在液化天然气(LNG)接收站运营中,LNG储存在低温全包容混凝土储罐内,在储罐的内罐与外罐之间填充珍珠岩粉,从而达到保冷效果.但是在接收站长时间运行时,由于重力原因,珍珠岩粉的高度会下沉,如果下沉高度过多,珍珠岩粉的高度低于保冷设计高度时,外部热量过多地进入储罐,会产生大量的蒸发天然气(BOG).BOG的实际产生率将高于设计产生率,将增加储罐压力,以及储罐的操作风险和运营成本.因此,安装一套分布式光纤测温系统(DTS)用于监控珍珠岩沉降,实时检测珍珠岩的高度,当珍珠岩的高度低于设计高度时,监控系统会报警,提醒操作人员填充珍珠岩.本文对DTS在LNG储罐珍珠岩沉降监控的应用进行了详细的阐述.
Application of Distributed Temperature Sensing for Perlite Settlement Monitoring System in LNG Storage Tank
The liquefied natural gas(LNG)will be stored in the cryogenic full containment storage tank.The perlite will be filled in between the inner tank and outer tank for tank insulation.The heigh of perlite may be reduced because of perlite gravity.While the heigh of perlite is less than design requirement,the heat from environment will go inside the tank,then more and more boil-off gas(BOG)will be generated which will be increase the operation cost.So one set perlite settlement monitoring system in LNG storage tank will be installed in the tank and monitor the heigh of perlite on time.If the system monitor the heigh of perlite is less than the design value,an alarm will be generated by system and sent to distributed temperature sensing(DTS)system.The operator will refill the perlite.The perlite settlement monitoring system will be descripted in this document to increase the tank operation safety level and decrease the tank operation cost.
