Fault Trip Location Analysis of Grid-Connected Line in Wind Farm
The single-phase grounding fault characteristics of wind farm grid-connected lines are affected by grid-connected mode and fan control strategy, and the ranging accuracy of traditional fault location methods can not meet the requirements. This paper firstly theoretically studies the ranging errors of traditional impedance ranging methods, and takes a 110 kV wind farm line in a 330 kV substation as an example to build a two-terminal transmission model including wind power grid-connected lines, simulates and analyzes the fault current and impedance characteristics of wind farm grid-connected lines, and verifies the error of ranging results based on the fault ranging device configured on the traditional power supply side.In order to further ensure the fault location accuracy of grid-connected lines of wind farms, some ideas are put forward based on the existing research.
