Effect of blasting vibration on slope stability in Xiwan Open-pit Mine
Blasting vibration is one of the important factors affecting the stability of slopes. In order to analyze and study the impact of blasting-induced vibrations on slope stability of Xiwan open-pit,the article adopts numerical simulation and limit equilibrium theory as research methods and approaches, and fits the vibration acceleration at the blasting monitoring point using blasting monitoring data, and simulates the slope surface subjected to horizontal vibration acceleration. The results indicate that when the horizontal vibration acceleration increases from 0 to 0.03,the stability coefficient of the slope decreases by 0.19.When the horizontal vibration acceleration further increases from 0.03 to 0.05,the stability coefficient of the slope decreases by 0.114.The influence of blasting vibration on slope stability gradually diminishes as the blasting vibration acceleration increases.
