Ecological environment quality assessment and spatial autocorrelation analysis in Wulantuga Germanium Coal Open-pit Mine
Taking Sentinel-2 as the basic data source, the article constructs RSEI remote sensing ecological index in Wulantuga Germanium Coal Open-pit Mine from 2020 to 2023,and applies the spatial auto-correlation to dynamically monitor and quantitatively evaluate the ecological environment quality in the mining area. The results show that the greenness index(NDVI)and the humidity index(WET)are the main influencing factors on the ecological environment of the mining area.Remote Sensing Ecological Index of the mining area increases yearly by 28.4%from 2020-2023,and total reduction of 1.62 km2 in poor and poorer ecosystem areas.A total of 1.06 km2 of growth was observed in both good and excellent regions. The ecological environment quality shows a high degree of spatial auto-correlation,with poor and inferior ecological environment values concentrated at the height of open-pit mining pits.Good and superior ecological environment quality values are highly concentrated in the nursery and slope cutting areas of the waste dump. The number of grids has increased by 27.27%over the past four years. The ecological environment has been effectively improved and the spatial layout has been rationalized.
