Stability analysis of mining dumping composite slope in Biesikuduke Open-pit Mine
In response to the stability relationship between the west external dump and the composite slope of stope in Biesikuduke Open-pit Mine,on the basis of fully considering the occurrence of weak layers in the west slope, the article analyzes the deformation and failure mechanism of the mining and dumping composite slope using a combination of rigid body limit equilibrium method and numerical simulation. The article determines the minimum safe distance between the west dump and the mining site, and optimizes and adjusts the surface boundary of the dump. The results show that the potential landslide mode of the mining and dumping composite slope in Biesikuduke Open-pit Mine is the seated sliding failure of the circular arc trailing edge sliding surface. When the minimum safe distance between the west external dump and the mining site exceeds 180 m,the west external dump will not have a significant impact on the stability of the stope slope.
