Slope stability analysis of open-pit stope based on Midas GTS/NX in Xinda Coal Mine
In order to verify the soundness of the design of open-pit mining in Xinda Coal Mine, the article analyzes the stability of the slope at the end of mining, obtains the relevant rock mechanics parameters from field surveys and indoor rock mechanics tests, constructs numerical models using Midas GTS/NX,and numerically simulates four typical profiles of the stope, and obtains the safety factor for each profile using intensity reduction methods. The results show that the safety factors for each section are 1.4125,1.3051,1.4313 and 1.3938,which is in line with the code's requirements. The original design is reasonable and can ensure the production safety of Xinda Mine.
