Stability analysis of expanding slope in internal dump of Antaibao Open-pit Mine
To reduce the land area occupied by the external dump of Antaibao Open-pit Mine, the article studies the feasibility of expanding the internal dump under the conditions of anticline structures, proposes two sets of expansion plans for internal dumping based on the analysis of the current inner dumping situation. We construct a geological model of slope engineering based on the latest revised three-dimensional geological model of Antaibao Open-pit Mine, surface condition aerial survey results, and dumping plan design, evaluates the stability of the slopes after the expansion of the internal dump under the two plans for safety using the Spencer and M-P methods of limit equilibrium analysis. The results indicate that expansion plan 1 for the internal dump is more conducive to the safe production and construction of Antaibao Open-pit Mine.
