Research progress on rotor dynamics of pressurized water reactor main pump and liquid metal pumps
The nuclear main pump is one of the key pieces of equipment of nuclear power plants, but also the only rotating mechanical equipment of the reactor cooling system, its stable operation depends on the normal operation of the entire reactor, therefore, for the study on the rotor dynamics of the nuclear reactor main pump,it is very necessary to investigate modal shape, inherent frequency and rigidness damping of support system and liquid film thickness. With focus on the domestic and international research methods on the rotor dynamics of pressurized water reactor main pumps and liquid metal pumps and based on four types of nuclear main pumps:pressurized water reactor main pumps,sodium-cooled fast reactor main pumps, molten salt reactor main pumps and lead-cooled fast reactor main pumps, the research progress on the lubrication performance of main pump guide bearings and the rotor dynamics characteristics such as the inherent frequency, modal analysis and critical speed of the main pump rotor structure at the present stage was reviewed and prospected starting from the structural characteristics of nuclear main pumps and their rotor components with a view to providing certain reference and guidance for calculation and analysis of rotor dynamics characteristics of the nuclear main pumps.
