Air-cooled screw air compressor test system and environmental parameters on performance impact research
In response to the large heat dissipation of large air-cooled screw air compressors, which can cause rapid changes in ambient temperature and humidity,a performance test system of air compressor with local exhaust is designed and studied, and the influence of environmental parameters on the volume flow and specific power of air compressor is explored. The experimental results show that the temperature uniformity of the test environment is within 0.5℃,and the temperature fluctuation of the air compressor inlet is within±0.3℃,which ensures the stability of the test environment. The volume flow of the air compressor is affected by the coupling of ambient temperature and relative humidity. When the air compressor is in low ambient humidity, the relative humidity has a greater impact, and when it is in high ambient humidity, the opposite is true. The specific power of the air compressor increases with the increase of the test ambient temperature and relative humidity, and is more affected by the ambient temperature.Within the test range, the air compressor has the best performance when the ambient relative humidity is 50%and the temperature is 20℃.The research results can provide certain theoretical guidance for selecting air compressors based on the actual operating environment.
