Optimization design of the gap drainage impeller based on orthogonal experiment
A two-stage centrifugal pump was used as the research object by using the orthogonal test method to discuss the influence of the gap drainage impeller on the performance of centrifugal pump under different parameters.According to the L6(21×32)orthogonal experimental design table, three parameters such as the wrap angle and circumferential overlap of the small blade, and the gap width were selected as the experimental factors, and six types of impellers were designed. The internal flow field in the centrifugal pump was numerically calculated based on SST k-ω turbulent model. The performance curves under different working conditions were obtained. The range analysis method was used to explore the effects of different factors on head and efficiency. The better optimized impeller scheme was applied to the centrifugal pump for test, and the pump test performance curve was obtained. The results show that the circumferential overlap and gap width of the small blades have a great influence on the head and efficiency. The small blades can effectively improve the flow structure inside the two-stage impeller. After the impeller optimization scheme is adopted. The head is increased by 2.3%,and the efficiency is increased by 0.86%.Therefore,the optimization design of the gap drainage impeller can effectively improve the pump performance.
