Pneumatic parameter design and numerical calculation of high pressure regulator
In order to study the static characteristics of the pressure regulator in the pneumatic system,modeling,simulation,and experimental verification were conducted on the flow field inside the pressure regulator,the velocity field and pressure field were solved by SST k-ω model,the equations for relationships between the flow rate,inlet and outlet pressure,valve opening height and other parameters of the pressure regulator were deduced,the inlet and outlet pressure curves of the pressure regulator in the working process of the pneumatic system were obtained,and the effects of different parameters on the pressure reducing performance of the pressure regulator were analyzed.The results show that the increase of spring stiffness will affect the change trend of outlet pressure and inlet pressure of the pressure regulator.The piston area and the diameter of the flow limiting hole have a significant impact on the outlet pressure accuracy of the pressure regulator,when the piston area of the pressure regulator with a diameter of the flow limiting hole of 2.4 mm is increased from 18.5 mm2 to 58.7 mm2,the outlet pressure accuracy can be improved from 7%to 1%;when the diameter of the flow limiting hole of the pressure regulator with a piston area of 58.7 mm2 is increased from 2.4 mm to 3.2 mm,the outlet pressure accuracy of the pressure regulator is reduced from 7%to 10%.The research results can provide reference for the design of like pressure regulators.
