Network information has become an important digital archival resource for preserving precious information and constructing memories of the times in the Internet era.Since the mid-1990s,various countries have begun to archive the important network information in succession,and many network information archiving projects have been formed in the world.This paper adopts a network research method to extensively collect information on existing network information archiving projects,then analyzes the distribution characteristics and historical changes of global network information archiving in four dimensions:time and space,leading organization,project level,and project content,to paint a panoramic view of global network information archiving and discover the deep development logic and future development trend of network information archiving.
