Archives of serious and major incidents are historical records made by the Party and the state with preservation value in response to such emergencies as natural disasters,accidents,public health incidents and social security incidents.With the modernization of the national governance system and capacity,archival resources are playing an increasingly important role in national governance resources.It is of great political,historical and practical significance to properly collect archives of serious and major incidents,despite the challenges in collecting the archives due to the abruptness,complexity and diversity of the records generated.From the perspective of institution,content and subject,this paper conducts an in-depth analysis and puts forward collection countermeasures in hope of providing reference for the collection of archives of serious and major incidents.
