Shenyang was originally called Shengjing.In Qing Dynasty,Shengjing was the"land of dragon prosperity"and the home front of Manchu in Qing Dynasty.As there were imperial palaces,imperial mausoleums and emperors'manors that were the source of economy of the emperors,it was highly valued by the emperors of Qing Dynasty.This paper attempts to revisit the Qing Emperors'eastern inspection tour to explore the regional characteristic culture of the Manchu nationality in Liaoning according to the relevant records of Qing Emperors'eastern inspection tour in historical archives.
