Since its founding,Ming Dynasty has implemented the policy of"enfeoffing lords and establishing vassals"in the local area.As the only imperial clan in Sichuan area,the clan of Shu,who was enfeoffed in Chengdu,had an important influence on all aspects of Sichuan local society.The imperial clans of Ming Dynasty represented by the clan of Shu had the double privileges in both politics and laws,which led to their frequent crimes,involving various aspects of the Sichuan region such as politics,economy,society and internal clan,and had a certain negative impact on the local society of Sichuan in Ming Dynasty.
