Analysis of the Administrative Characteristics of Piaowen Seen in Danxin Archives
Based on the statistical data of Piaowen in Danxin archives,this paper analyzes the characteristics of Piaowen administration from three aspects:the control of errands by the deadline set in Piaowen,the necessity of the rural grassroots non-governmental organizations working together to run errands in Piaowen,and the effectiveness of administrative execution by Taiwan's grassroots government reflected in"Piaocui".It is found that the document administration of Taiwan's prefecture and county government offices possesses the general characteristics of the document administration of Qing Dynasty's prefecture and county government offices.For example,rural management relies on the joint administration of prefecture and county government offices and grassroots non-governmental organizations.And it also has some of its own characteristics.For example,the construction and management of the Fan community,the complexity of terrain and the low administrative effectiveness caused by the differences in the mixed residence of Fan and Han people.
