Research on Donation Phenomenon in Shengjing Area Seen in Xianfeng Period of Hetu Dangse
As the copy of official documents and archives of Shengjing Imperial Household Department in Qing Dynasty,Xianfeng Period of Hetu Dangse recorded a series of information about politics,economy and culture of Shengjing area in Qing Dynasty.Donation was a measure that was forced to be taken to obtain funds by selling vacant official positions in order to solve financial crisis in Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty,a certain number of which were recorded in Xianfeng Period of Hetu Dangse.This paper analyzes the characteristics of donation in Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty based on the changes of relevant provisions,basic forms and specific management and implementation measures.
