Construction Practice and Enlightenment of the Alberta Library Consortium in Canada
By interpreting and explaining the strategic positioning,funding sources,governance structure,rules and regulations,service content and incentive mechanism of the Alberta Library(TAL)in Canada,this paper summarizes several important aspects for the sustainable operation of TAL,including definite strategic objective,efficient management system,multiple sources of funds,rich service content and powerful cooperative culture,in order to provide reference for the construction of Chinese library consortium.
