The archives of the Republic of China in universities have broad prospects for development and utilization as the achievements and historical witnesses of national higher education and cultural undertakings during the Republic of China period.The paper takes South China University of Technology as an example to introduce practical and feasible paths to develop and utilize archives of the Republic of China in universities,such as meeting the needs of the public for archival access,providing archival materials and historical reference for exhibitions,edition and publication,campus and urban construction,new media operation,and humanistic education in universities.
