Overview on the Development of Maternal and Child Health Services in Shanghai Under the Leadership of Communist Party of China
The Communist Party of China has been playing an active role in fostering the growth of maternal and child health services in Shanghai.In Shanghai,the maternal and child health services were still being advanced even during both the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation.After the Founding of new China,the network of united maternal and child health station was established gradually.Day by day,the advancement of maternal and child health services was augmented in tandem with the progress and advancement of the nation.By the 20s of this century,the maternal and child health services in Shanghai have reached an advanced level in the country and some indicators have attained or even come close to the level of developed countries.Additionally,the maternal and child health services network has been enhanced.In order to implement the"Healthy China"strategy and achieve high-quality development of maternal and child health services in Shanghai,the maternal and child health services in Shanghai have got a new task and mission.
