从档案史料出发,从东北西医起源的角度探讨司督阁对于辽宁乃至东北地区现代医学和卫生防疫发展的主要功绩和重要意义,以系统梳理出司督阁在东北开始施医办学过程中的创举:创办东北首家西医医院和第一所医科大学,全力推广西医;开展现代卫生防疫工作,提升鼠疫防治水平.司督阁引进国外管理体制和医学教育模式,培养了西医人才,客观上促进了现代科学技术在东北地区的传播和发展.
Abstract
Based on historical materials,from the perspective of the origin of western medicine in Northeast China,this paper discusses the main achievements and significance of Dugald Christie for the development of modem medicine and health and epidemic prevention in Liaoning and even Northeast China.It also systematically summarizes the pioneering work of him in the process of medical practice and education in Northeast China:the establishment of the first western medicine hospital and the first medical university in Northeast China to promote western medicine;the modem health and epidemic prevention to improve the prevention and treatment of plague.Dugald Christie introduced foreign management system and medical education model,trained western medical talents,and objectively promoted the spread and development of modern science and technology in Northeast China.
