Study on Xinjiang Water Conservancy Commission During the Republic of China
In the early period of the Republic of China,Xinjiang suffered social unrest,and farmland and water conservancy were seriously damaged.After Yang Zengxin took office in Xinjiang,he actively responded to the call of the central government to set up Xinjiang Water Conservancy Commission,which surveyed the water conservancy in Xinjiang,worked out the water conservancy budget,initiated water conservancy projects,and dealt with the affairs of competing for water reclamation.The Xinjiang Water Conservancy Commission has played an important role in promoting water conservancy construction in Xinjiang,promoting exchanges and integration among ethnic groups,and safeguarding border security.
