Analysis of the Standardization of Recommendation Procedure in Tongzhi Period
In order to ensure the objectivity and justice of recommendation,the procedure was strict and complicated in the early and middle Qing Dynasty.But in Xianfeng period,because of the change of the situation,the Qing government loosened the recommendation procedure to a certain extent,which also brought a series of drawbacks such as excessive recommendation.In Tongzhi period,the war was over and the society entered a relatively stable period.Therefore,the Qing government took some measures to standardize the procedure of recommendation to restore the control over the recommendation.However,there were too many long established practices in the late Qing Dynasty and the measures to standardize the procedure had little effect.
