Building information model is a necessary means to improve the informatization level and management efficiency of China's construction industry.Combing domestic literature of building information model archiving is helpful to grasp the status quo of archiving research on building information model in China and promote the archiving and management of 3D data.In this paper,the current research results are divided into six categories:archiving difference between 3D models and 2D fiiles,archiving scope,archiving specification,archiving technology,archiving mode and special archiving case.The domestic research on archiving of building information model is sorted out and summarized,and the characteristics and shortcomings of related research are reviewed,in order to play a reference role in promoting the subsequent research.
