Social Relief for Displaced People in the Jilin Area During the Republic of China(1912-1931)
The problem of displaced people and the corresponding social relief measures in the Jilin area during the Republic of China from 1912 to 1931 are studied.During this turbulent period of history,a series of natural disasters,wars and social upheavals led to the displacement of many people from their homes,especially from North China to the Northeast.Through a detailed analysis of historical documents and archival materials,the paper emphasizes the reasons behind the migration of displaced people,as well as the key role of civil charitable organizations in the relief of refugees and their limitations,providing an important perspective for understanding the development of China's social relief system during the Republic of China period.
