Historical Writing of the Battle of Chibi by Traditional Historiography
The Battle of Chibi,which took place in the 13th year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty(208),was recorded in different types of historical books.By comparing the relevant texts in Records of the Three Kingdoms,Hou Han Ji and Tong Jian Ji Shi Ben Mo,the differences and causes of the historical writings of the Battle of Chibi under the framework of traditional historiography can be analyzed.The difference in compilation styles,political positions of historians,writing time and historical backgrounds will have an impact on the narrative of historical facts.
