The Far East Games,known as"Far East Olympic Games"and"Modern Asian Games",has played a prominent role in promoting the development of sports in the Far East.The 10th Far East Games was the last of the Far East Games series,because the Far East Sports Association,the organization of it,disintegrated amid a Japanese plot to bring the Puppet State of Manchukuo into international competitions.Japan's attempt to make the Manchukuo participate in international competitions to gain international recognition and the compromise of the Philippines as well as the drawbacks of the Games itself were the reasons that led to the disintegration of the Far East Games.
