Abstract
As a comprehensive information management activity,archives management not only carries the important missions of recording history and preserving cultural memory,but also plays a key role in social structure.With the rapid development of information technology,the field of archives management is undergoing a groundbreaking transformation.This paper aims to explore the evolution,social functions,and challenges and opportunities brought by information technology of archives management through the intersection of three dimensions:history,sociology,and information technology,to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the future development of archives management.
