With the rapid development of information technology,the application of artificial intelligence(AI)in archives management is becoming increasingly widespread.This paper first analyzes the shortcomings of traditional archives classification and retrieval system,then explores the application of artificial intelligence technology in archives classification and retrieval,and constructs optimization strategies for archives classification and retrieval system based on artificial intelligence.Research has shown that AI-based systems not only improve the accuracy of classification,but also optimize the retrieval users'experience.
