Test and Analysis of Green Economy Effect of Tourism Development from the Perspective of Spatial Spillover
Studying the green economy impact of tourism development has important theoretical and practical significance for successfully changing the economic development model.Tourism is a crucial cornerstone to guide the construction of a beautiful China and implement the strategy of ecological civilization. The green economy effect of tourism development was examined from the perspective of spatial spillover using 280 prefecture-level cities in China from 2007 to 2019 as the research subjects. The spatial heterogeneity, effect boundary, and nonlinear characteristic relationship were further analyzed. The study's findings are as follows:(1)Over the observation period,China's prefecture-level cities experienced an increase in the fluctuation of green economy efficiency. The efficiency distribution revealed a"eastern>western>northeast>central"pattern, with"central collapse"characteristics being particularly evident.Considering geographical distance, economic distance and economic geographical distance, the green economy effect of tourism development is robustly manifested as a spatial spillover effect rather than a local effect.(2)The spatial heterogeneity of the green economy effect of tourism development is obvious, and the regional spillover effect is in the pattern of central>northeast>eastern>west, the western local and spillover green economy effects are significant, and the local green economy effect in the central region is negative. There is no boundary between urban agglomerations and non-urban agglomerations, and both are mainly spillover green economic effects.(3)There are geographical boundaries for the green economy effect, and after 1300,the local green economy effect begins to turn from negative to positive, and the spillover green economy effect begins to decrease. The research content provides theoretical support for tourism to become an important industry to promote the green development of regional economy.
