Based on survey data from the Labor Market Research Center at Beijing Normal University,this study empirically examines whether Internet Plus can enhance the operational performance of returning entrepreneurial enterprises.The results show that In-ternet Plus significantly improves the operational performance of these enterprises,and the social capital of returning entrepreneurs can significantly enhance the positive effects of Internet Plus.Heterogeneity analysis indicates that Internet Plus can improve the oper-ational performance of returning entrepreneurial enterprises from three aspects:produc-tion,sales,and third-party services.This effect is more pronounced in returning entre-preneurial enterprises in the central and western regions,survival-oriented returning en-terprises,and those in the secondary and tertiary industries.Mechanism analysis based on financing channels,information channels,and risk channels reveals that Internet Plus can significantly enhance the refinancing ability of returning entrepreneurial enterprises,re-duce financing costs,and increase the risk tolerance of returning entrepreneurs.
