Variations of Eastern Colors——An Analysis of the Color Language in Yan Ping's Oil Paintings
Since the 1980s,Yan Ping has created a large number of works on the themes of mother and child affection,theater troupe,flowers and still life,etc.She pays great attention to the expression of color language in her works.This paper takes the color language in Yan Ping's oil paintings as the research object,analyzes the color language in her works,and carries out research from the expressive form of color,symbolic expression of color,etc.,and explores the oriental color interest shown in Yan Ping's oil paintings.Starting from the ontological language of oil painting,Yan Ping integrates her own perception of life and thinking about life into the color language,writes the passion of life with subjective and gorgeous colors,and presents highly symbolic,expressive colors in her realistic oil paintings.She pushes the color intentionality of Chinese oil paintings to a higher level,and writes oriental color melody like a poem or a song in her mellow color language.
