Spatial Differentiation of Carbon Storage for Pinus densata in Shangri-La City
The Pinus densata forest in Shangri-La was researched to establish a carbon storage estimation model, the carbon storage and carbon density were calculated using forest resource inventory data, and the digital elevvation model(DEM)data was used as the information source to analyze the spatial differ-entiation characteristics of Pinus densata carbon storage and carbon density. The study results showed that the power function model had the highest accuracy, with a determination coefficient(R2)of 0.989 and a mean square error(MSE)of 259.43,the model could be used to estimate Pinus densata carbon storage;in spatial distribution,Pinus densata forest carbon storage mainly distributed at altitude of>2500-4000 m,carbon density was the largest at an altitude of>2000-2500 m,was 40.80 t/hm2;from flat slope to risk slope, the distribution of Pinus densata forest carbon storage showed a trend of increase then decrease, most distribution on steep slope, least distribution on flat slope;with the slope increase,Pinus densata forest carbon density showed a trend of increase then decrease,Pinus densata forest carbon density on the steep slope was the largest, was 35.94 t/hm2,while carbon density on the flat slope was the smallest, was 30.85 t/hm2;few carbon storage distributed on flat land, with little difference in distribution on sha-ded slopes, half shaded slopes, half sunny slopes and sunny slopes, showing a trend of increase then de-crease.The distribution was most on half sunny slopes and least on shady slopes. The carbon density of Pinus densata forests was not significantly different on each slope, with the largest being 34.40 t/hm2 on half sunny slopes and the smallest being 32.20 t/hm2 on flat land.
