Evaluation of Negative Oxygen Ion Concentration and Environmental Factors in Five Natural Protected Areas of Hainan Province from 2010 to 2020
This study was to explore the correlation between negative oxygen ion concentration and envi-ronmental factors in five major natural protected areas in Hainan Province, and provide theoretical refer-ences for the development and utilization of forest parks in tropical areas in China. The data from the De-partment of Ecology and Environment of Hainan Province and the environmental quality bulletins of mu-nicipal and county governments was used to analyze the changes of negative oxygen ion concentrations in the five major forest parks and the air quality of the cities and counties in which the parks were located from 2010 to 2020.Correlation analysis was conducted. The results showed that the annual average nega-tive oxygen ion concentration showed an increasing trend, and the air pollutants PM2.5,PM10,O3,SO2,NO2,CO and other indicators showed a general decreasing trend. The concentration of negative oxygen i-ons in Wuzhishan National Nature Reserve was positively correlated with SO2(P<0.01).The overall level of negative oxygen ion concentration in the five major forest parks was good, and the air quality reached the first level. The overall negative oxygen ion concentration showed the seasonal characteristics of high in summer and autumn and low in spring and winter.
