Lake Evolution in Selincuo Lake National Nature Reserve in Recent 30 Years
Based on satellite remote sensing data from 1990,2000,2010 and 2020,as well as climate data such as temperature, precipitation and evaporation in recent 30 years, this paper investigated the e-volution of lakes in Selincuo Lake National Nature Reserve. The results showed that the number of lakes in Selincuo Lake National Nature Reserve showed a trend of increasing, decreasing and increasing, and the area of lakes showed a phased increase trend of expansion, accelerating expansion and slowing down.In recent 30 years, the total area of lakes had expanded by 88 676.49 hm2,among which, the area in-creased by 23897.12 hm2,57176.60 hm2 and 7602.77 hm2,respectively,with growth rates of 5.63%,12.75%and 1.50%in the periods from 1990 to 2000,from 2000 to 2010,and from 2010 to 2020.The analysis of the lake area above 1000 hm2 in Selincuo Lake National Nature Reserve showed that the areas change rate of Selincuo and Rencuo in the western region was large, while those of Qu'e,Nairipingcuo and Pengcuo in the eastern region were significant. In recent 30 years, the climate of Selincuo Lake Na-tional Nature Reserve was characterized by the increase of temperature and precipitation, and the de-crease of evaporation, showing a trend of warm and humid development. The changes of glacier shrinking rate, precipitation and evaporation were highly correlated with the periodic changes of lakes in Selincuo Lake National Nature Reserve.
