Influence of Different Terrains on Distribution Characteristics of Prunus armeniaca in Tuergen Farm Basin of Ili Prefecture
Using the 2019 WorldView-3 satellite remote sensing image and SRTM DEM data, the spatial distribution characteristics of Prunus armeniaca in Tuergen Farm Basin of Ili Prefecture,Xinjiang were studied through object-oriented extraction of remote sensing and digital terrain analysis of geographic in-formation system. The results showed that Prunus armeniaca was mainly distributed on mountain slopes with an altitude of 1000-1900 m in the upper reaches of the basin, with an area of 2.57 km2 and a cov-erage rate of 2.58%;the vertical zonal spatial distribution characteristics of Prunus armeniaca were obvi-ous,the area and coverage rate first increased and then decreased with the elevation, and the maximum value was at 1300-1400 m;the area of Prunus armeniaca was larger on westerly and windward sunny slopes than on leeward shady slopes, and larger on slopes of 15°~35°than on both steeper slopes and gentler slopes, while the coverage rate of Prunus armeniaca was higher on westerly and windward shady slopes than on leeward sun-ny slopes, and higher on steeper slopes than on gentler slopes;with the increase of altitude, the difference of Prunus armeniaca coverage across different slop directions and gradients at the same altitude decreased initial-ly and then increased. The distribution difference of Prunus armeniaca in different slope directions and gradi-ents near 1300 m was the smallest, which was relatively the most suitable for Prunus armeniaca.
