With the sharp increase of urban population in China,the construction of urban parks is shifting from"incremental development"to"stock optimization".The study of satisfaction with urban parks can quantify the needs and preferences of residents,and achieve an effective progression of spiritual level while satisfying material needs.Therefore,research on urban park satisfaction is necessary.Based on the exist-ing theories and literature,this paper analyzed three aspects of urban park satisfaction,including research methods,factors affecting satisfaction,and differences in satisfaction with urban parks among different age groups;the factors influencing satisfaction were analyzed at the levels of"park services"and"demand for use",and the factors influencing residents' satisfaction with urban parks included the green environment and accessibility of parks.Different age groups of users were interested in different recreational activities.
