Relationship between Relative Diameter-Heights Ratio,Pressler Form Factor and Experimental Form Factor
The relative diameter-heights ratio(B)not only refers to the ratio of two diameters, but also the ratio of two heights, which can more conveniently and objectively reflect the shape of the trunk and is a more ideal indicator of trunk shape. In the calculation of relative diameter-heights ratio, the related concept was introduced.Based on the results, this paper proposed the formula of relative diameter-heights to find the relationship between the aspect ratio, the Pressler form factor and the experimental form factor, which was more convenient, accurate, and practical in calculating forest volume, especially in calculating the volume of individual standing trees.
