Development Ideas for Bamboo Industry in Yunnan Province
There were 250 species and 29 genera of bamboo plants in Yunnan Province,accounting for 33%and 66%of the total in China,ranking 9th in the country.The bamboo plants produced 133 million large diameter bamboo,8.98 million tons of small miscellaneous bamboo,500 m3 of bamboo plywood,24 million m2 of bamboo flooring(including bamboo wood composite flooring),and 106 000 tons of dried bamboo shoots.The output value of the bamboo industry was 4.01 billion yuan.The bamboo industry in Yunnan Province had the characteristics of a large proportion of scattered bamboo resources,high regional concentration,a large proportion of natural bamboo resources,a dominant position in bamboo shoots,a dominant position in the output value of bamboo shoot products,and a rich cultural heritage.At present,the bamboo industry was facing problems such as low level of intensive management,lagging deep pro-cessing and utilization,and few and weak operating entities.Therefore,this paper proposed to highlight distinctive advantages,innovate organizational operations,strengthen policy support,innovate integrated development,and increase investment attraction.The development of the bamboo industry for bamboo shoots in Yunnan Province is at the forefront of the country,with a good industrial foundation and devel-opment prospects,which should be regarded as a breakthrough point for the development of the bamboo industry in Yunnan Province,expanding its industrial characteristics and advantages,and integrating park economy and rural revitalization construction to promote high-quality development of the bamboo in-dustry in Yunnan Province.
