Effects of Litter Properties of Different Types of Leguminosae Plant Community on Urban Soil Quality
To understand the effects of litter characteristics of different types of Leguminosae plant com-munities on urban soil quality, three different community types(Leguminosae deciduous broad-leaved forest,Leguminosae and non-Leguminosae deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest,Leguminosae and ever-green coniferous mixed forest)in Taiyuan Forest Park were selected.Through the difference analysis and correlation analysis of litter properties and soil quality of different types of Leguminosae plant communities, the relationship between litter properties and soil factors was discussed. The results indicated that there were differences in the physicochemical properties of litter among different types of Leguminosae plant communities. The total nitrogen content(17.68 g/kg)and N/P ratio(4.15)of litter in Leguminosae deciduous broad-leaved forest were significantly higher than those in other two communities. The total phosphorus content of Leguminosae and evergreen coniferous mixed forest(5.96 g/kg)was significantly higher than that of Leguminosae and non-Leguminosae deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest(3.68 g/kg).The soil properties of different types of Leguminosae plant communities were different.Soil total carbon(127.28 g/kg)and alkaline phosphatase activity(0.6 g/kg)in Leguminosae deciduous broad-leaved forest were significantly better than those in other two communities, and urease activity(0.87 g/kg)was significantly better than that in Leguminosae and non-Leguminosae deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest. The contents of soil organic carbon(23.51 g/kg),nitrate nitrogen(11.21 mg/kg)and total potassium(20.88 g/kg)in Leguminosae and non-Leguminosae deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest were signifi-cantly lower than those in other two communities.Litter total carbon, total nitrogen, total phosphorus,ni-trogen and phosphorus ratio were significantly positively correlated with maximum water holding capacity, capillary water holding capacity, soil total carbon, organic carbon, total nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium, available potassium, urease and catalase. The total amount of litter, total carbon and total phosphorus were significantly negatively correlated with soil bulk density, and the carbon-nitrogen ratio of litter was significantly negatively correlated with soil total nitrogen, total carbon and or-ganic carbon.Litter of different types of Leguminosae plant community can significantly reduce soil bulk density, improve soil nutrients and enzyme activities, and the soil quality of Leguminosae deciduous broad-leaved forest and Leguminosae and evergreen coniferous mixed forest was better than that of Leguminosae and non-Leguminosae deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest.
